Stronger Together

Ephesians 6:18 – praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, being watchful to this end with all perseverance and supplication for all the saints

Sometimes we may be in the kitchen doing chores and someone or a name comes to mind. Perhaps we have not seen them in a long time. At other times we may be walking on the pavement or may be in attendance at a function and we see someone and we say to ourselves, “This person resembles someone I know”. We then wonder where he or she is and how they are doing. These promptings can be a simple way of the Holy Spirit bringing persons to our attention for us to remember them and say a word of prayer on their behalf. It is important that we take time to stand in the gap for others. Someone is praying for us and so we must pray for our brothers and sisters. We are all a part of the family of God and need each other. We must hold up each other’s hand in prayer.

As we pray for each other we are helping to build and repair lives. We are helping our fellow brothers and sisters to live victoriously. We are stronger as we stand together as members of the Body of Christ and depend on each other. Every prayer made in sincerity will reach the throne room of God and the results/answers will be manifested. Therefore, I urge you, I urge us  to continue in supplications, prayers, intercessions and giving of thanks for all men as stated in 1 Timothy 2:1.
