Jesus, Our Greatest Evangelist

Our Lord Jesus Christ, when He began His earthly ministry, brought the greatest message to humanity. What was Jesus’s message? “…the kingdom of God has arrived. Repent, and believe the Gospel – “Mark 1:15 (Good News).
Our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, recognised the importance of the task that God the Father had set before Him. As such, He went about it with the utmost urgency. He accomplished His task, within three and a half years – leaving this template of urgency for us to follow.
Before His Ascension to heaven, Jesus gave to His disciples and His Church, (every born again believer), the Great Commission that is, to go into all the world and preach the Gospel to everyone. This Gospel, is the Gospel of Jesus Christ and it is the message of His life, death, and resurrection.
Let us be obedient to our Master’s call and let us work while it is yet day, for the night is coming when all work will cease.
Prayer:
Lord Jesus, You are our greatest evangelist, and just as You were diligent in doing the work of Your Father, help us also to be diligent in sharing the Good News that Christ died so that we may be saved, in Jesus’ name we pray, Amen.
