Benefits of the Blood Covenant

Benefits of the Blood Covenant

Hebrews 9:13-14 (NKJV)

For if the blood of bulls and goats and the ashes of a heifer, sprinkling the unclean, sanctifies for the purifying of the flesh, how much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered Himself without spot to God, cleanse your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?

Hebrews 9:13-14 (NKJV)

When Jesus shed His blood on Calvary’s cross for the sins of mankind, those of us who accepted Him as our Lord and Saviour have a blood covenant with Him. Joseph Kansema in his book “Dominion Over Satan and his Demons” stated that the Blood Covenant can also be called the Life Covenant. Our relationship with God is based on a Blood Covenant with the Lord Jesus Christ which guarantees eternal life (John 3:16). As a result of the Blood Covenant, God’s life becomes our life and we receive our spiritual life from God.

Conversely, the redemptive benefits of the new Blood Covenant are eternal life, mercy, the forgiveness of sins, justification, protection, healing, sanctification, atonement, freedom from ancestral curses and demonic covenants.

Jesus went along with God’s salvation plan because of His love and compassion towards us. He witnessed first-hand the curse of evil that had spread throughout human-kind, and  He desired that we be purged of that wickedness knowing that it was His blood that contained the necessary healing and purification properties.

Prayer:

Heavenly Father, we acknowledge Your Son Jesus Christ as the Source of salvation, Healer of all diseases, the Conqueror of all enemies, and the Deliverer of all sins. Your Word in 2 Peter 3:9 states, “The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some men count slackness; but is long -suffering towards us, not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance.

In the name of Jesus, we pray for the salvation of our unsaved parents, siblings, friends, neighbours, work colleagues, and also our enemies. We plead the blood of Jesus and the fire of the Holy Spirit on every stronghold of the enemy that comes in the forms of demonic philosophies, constructs, structures, and systems that have imprisoned their souls. Thank You, Lord for answered prayers. Amen.
