Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall trouble or hardship or persecution or famine or nakedness or danger or sword?
Romans 8:35-39 (NIV)
The author Dr Myles Munroe wrote in his book “Overcoming Crisis,” “Living on earth requires that we must expect the unexpected and prepare for the unforeseen. It is the nature of life. But many of us do not possess the necessary spiritual tools to successfully and effectively weather these seasons of turmoil”. As Kingdom citizens, we need to understand that there is life after every crisis. Thus, we need the necessary spiritual tools to navigate these crises, remembering that nothing can separate us from the love of God.
Jim Cymbala in his Book “Break Through Prayer” noted that, “Nothing can overcome the blessings of God in our lives even though He permits us to face battles along the way. Even the hardships and conflicts we endure are part of His plans to bless us”.
Beloved, let us learn to endure. We cannot successfully exit any crisis by complaining, crying, being bitter, becoming depressed, and playing the blame game. Use that energy to exalt God. Use that energy to breakout into deep intercessory praying and fasting. Use that energy to conduct spiritual warfare against the wiles of the enemy. Use that energy to request the wisdom of God to strategically overcome the crisis.
Brethren, none of us know but God’s blessings can rest on the labour of our hands, our personal finances, or our physical well-being in the midst of a crisis for He is the Christ over every crisis. Trust Him today.
PRAYER
Heavenly Father, Your Word in Jeremiah 29:11 states that You, God, have a plan to prosper us and not to harm us and to give hope and a future. So God in spite of our economic and physical challenges we declare that we shall experience prosperity in our health and wealth in Jesus’ name. Amen!
