3 John 2 NKJV
Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers.
Heredity is a word we have all heard some time or the other. It simply means the passing of traits from one generation to the next. It can be considered an inheritance just as Generational curses are considered as inheritances passed from one generation to the next. Heredity, however, is attributed to diseases. Because these diseases keep us in bondage, we have to work (read and practice) the Word of God which gives us freedom, in order to get rid of them.
3 John 2 says I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in good health, (KJV). And in the Gospel of John, it is recorded that if the Son sets you free, you are free indeed. A significant amount of my family members inherited heart complications. Both parents died from Myocardial Infarction, while two brothers and a sister had procedures done to rectify eye issues. However, because of believing and ‘working’ His Word, I was able to shut the door on this particular condition. I was able to break this heredity by the grace of God. You can too. Stop claiming generational sicknesses. Stop accepting hereditary diseases. Break that cycle for you and your offspring (s). Stand on the Word of God today.
Prayer
Father, thank You for life and that more abundantly. Thank You for the forgiveness of sins. I now give up this condition and close this door in my generation. Thank you for setting us free, in Jesus’s name, Amen.
