God Reveals Himself in our Darkest Moments

“He answered and said, Lo, I see four men loose, walking in the midst of the fire, and have no hurt, and the form of the fourth is like the Son of God.” – Daniel 3: 25 (KJV)

There was a point in my life when all I had to hold onto was the Word of God. I  have experienced family members from both sides asking me and my family to leave their home without any proper financial stability, forcing us to pay rent and at the same time having to painfully endure the refusal of loans from several banks, before seeing God coming through for us on the day of my mother’s funeral.

In Daniel Chapter 3, the three Hebrew boys did not collapse even in their darkest moment – a life and death moment. Instead, they choose to believe in the God they served, Yahweh, rather than caving into the king’s demands of worshipping a false god and statue. In their darkest moment, they chose to stay on the side of their Deliverer.

Whatever your situation might be, just know that God is at the centre of it all.

However, it is vital that we first examine our personal life with God and ensure the people around us are having the same faith, as the three Hebrew boys. In order to embark on this journey, our prayer life must be one of continuity, consistency, and trusting God in every situation in spite of how impossible it may seem. For those of you who don’t know God as yet, take this opportunity to make Him Master and Lord over your life.
