New Beginnings – Faith in Action

New Beginnings – Faith in Action

Hebrews 11:1 (KJV)

“Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.”

Hebrews 11:1 (KJV)

As individuals, we desire improvement in every area of our lives. We also have visions and dreams for the future of our family. In essence, we want the best.

In order to achieve and move to the next level, we sometimes need finances to educate ourselves and attract better job opportunities and as a result, gain a better income, educate our children, acquire a property or improve our present property, maintain regular doctor visits for general health check-up, establish another stream of income; just to name a few.

However, the truth is; many times we have little or no financial resources to put towards these various projects and we wonder what should be the next move, and what is it that we need to do. Thus, we spend countless hours thinking of ways to connect with people who we think may be able to help us.

The good news today is that we as kingdom citizens must understand that we walk by faith and not by sight (2 Corinthians 5:7), therefore, it behoves us to trust our King and believe that He is able to meet all our needs, both now and in the future. We must rely on Him knowing that whatever He promised in His Word, will come to pass in our lives according to His will.

This act of placing complete confidence in God without doubting is called Faith, and exercising faith in God is dependent on our personal relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ (John 15:7). It therefore means, that time must be spent in prayer, communicating with the One Who is able to provide, promote and establish connections.

Today, if you desire to achieve anything in life, have faith in God, trust Him with all your heart and see Him come through. Your faith will activate and grow stronger when you hear the Word of God (Romans 10:17). Put it into action.
