Yielding to Yahweh’s Will

Yielding to Yahweh’s Will

Luke 22: 42 (KJV)

Saying, Father, If Thou be willing, remove this cup from me: nevertheless not my will, but Thine, be done.” – Luke 22: 42 (KJV)

Our Lord and Saviour, in the garden of Gethsemane, wanted the cup of agony and death to pass Him. Nevertheless, Jesus went to the cross in the act of obedience to the will of His Father and laid His life down so that we might have abundant life.

You might be serving God with your all and yet faced with a broken marriage, battling stage four cancer, trouble on every side, and even being misunderstood by your brothers and sisters in Christ. Job said, “Though He slay me, yet will I trust in Him”. Job 13:15 (KJV). Be encouraged.

Queen Esther was taken from her homeland and ended up in king Ahasuerus’ palace. After suffering the loss of her parents at a tender age; she could ask, “Why  me?” But understand that God in His infinite wisdom was navigating a new course of life for Queen Esther. God caused her to have favour with the king and she was able to save an entire nation from being destroyed. God reminds us in His Word to acknowledge Him in all our ways and He will direct our paths.

There was a period in my life when I was timid about committing to the work of God. But eventually, I had to yield and trust my Heavenly Father to navigate my life’s journey in Christ. Given the time and season we are living in, many people are faced with making critical life choices. I implore you to seek God’s divine intervention and watch Him direct your path. Those still undecided on making Him Lord over your lives, don’t allow this window of opportunity to pass. God is waiting to change your course of direction for the positive. Listen keenly and obey.

Prayer

Father, in the Name of Jesus, I speak life into that (your) situation right now. I decree and declare divine strength to overcome every onslaught of the enemy to hinder the plans and purpose of God for your life. Today may you have all to stand with your loins girded up and allow the will of God to order your steps and give you victory in the name of Jesus. I decree and declare a new beginning, in Jesus’ name. Amen.
