Testify of the Miracle Working Power of God in Your Life

Luke 8:39 (ESV)

“Return to your home, and declare how much God has done for you”. And he went away, proclaiming throughout the whole city how much Jesus had done for him.’

Luke 8:39 (ESV)

Salvation is the greatest miracle because the transformative power of God has not only changed us from sinner to saint but also from victim to victor, for the battle is the Lord’s and the victory is ours – Deuteronomy 20:4

Many of us can testify of God’s power of protection from our wicked work colleagues, who plotted and planned for our dismissal and discovered that no weapon formed against us shall prosper – Isaiah 54:17 (KJV). Many of us were sick in our bodies and minds with various ancestral diseases and cured by the healing power of God while some of us were demon-possessed and delivered by the blood of Jesus and the Fire of the Holy Spirit.

Some of us can testify that we were told we were not university material because of our poor academic performance at the primary level. We were told we had a learning disability and that the ‘Peters Principle’ was applicable to us. However, God’s Word declares that we can do all things through Christ who strengthens us – Philippians 4:13 (NKJV), so you have attained first, second and third degrees.

Beloved, our testimonials give credence to the transformative Power of God in our lives. Remember, our faith in Christ will be tested and as we go through trials, temptations and tribulations let us declare, “this too shall pass” (2 Corinthians 4:17-18). We must go through a test before we have a testimony. The Apostle Paul writing in Romans 14:13-23 (ESV), declared that it is not our knowledge that is important, it is our love for each other as we guard our testimonies thereby causing others not to stumble.

The devil knows our sordid past and is desirous of trying to charm us to return to our sinful ways, with the intention of destroying our testimonies and our souls in the fiery pits of hell. Let’s not give him that triumph. Allow not only our words but our lives as testimonials to our family, relatives, worldly friends, and even our enemies. Let them see the transformational power of God in our lives that will allow them to give their hearts to Him also.

Prayer

Heavenly Father, we pray that You give us the boldness to use our testimonies as an evangelistic tool to win souls in our neighbourhoods, places of employment and/or businesses, education sector, entertainment centers, social media, and wherever our sphere of influence extends, in Jesus’ name. Amen!
