Jesus the Deliverer

“Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you in due time” – 1 Peter 5:6 (KJV)

Trusting God and letting go of things you have no control over is not always easy but Proverbs 3:5-6 (KJV) says, “Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding…and He shall direct thy paths.”

God is concerned with every aspect of your life. Just because you have not received the answer does not mean He’s not concerned; God is working behind the scenes. Delay does not mean denial. Trust His process. It is in the process as we wait on God’s deliverance that He is molding and shaping us. Tip: Ask God what lesson He wants you to learn in the process.

God’s plan for us takes every facet of our lives into consideration, nothing is by accident. When things are not happening the way you planned or envisioned can sometimes cause you to question your relationship with God and your purpose. But friends, fear not the unknown; continue to be encouraged. Jesus, the Deliverer, came to die for our sins – past, present, and future. He has lived here on earth, He knows our challenges and He’s working them out. Joshua 1:9 reminds us to be strong and courageous for God is with us wherever we go.

Do not be ashamed and run away from your Deliverer, instead, run into His arms. He will calm all, your fears, insecurity, anxiety, doubts, anger, and desire to control everything. Nothing you do will take Him by surprise. He knows and loves you – John 3:16.  Whatever the situation, know what the devil meant for evil God will use it to take you to promote you and deliver you for His honour and glory – Genesis 50:20 (KJV).

Prayer

Lord, today I thank You for Your goodness, grace, and mercies. I thank You for Your deliverance. Lord, today I submit to Your will for my life and ask that my desires match Yours. I thank You in every delay knowing that You’re using that to mold and shape me to Your design. Lord, through it all may You receive all honour and glory, in Jesus’ mighty name. Amen.
