Faithful God

“For the Lord is good and His love endures forever; His faithfulness continues through all generations.” – Psalm 100:5 (NIV)

Faithfulness comes from a place of trust and loyalty – Hebrews 11:1 (NIV). In the book of Exodus, the children of Israel disobeyed God and doubted Him, yet He delivered them, He protected and provided for them. This is our God. We can pray, live, and serve God on these two basic promises: Matthew 21:22 and Exodus 14:14 (NIV).

The first step to activate the promises of God in our lives is to believe His Word, to be fully convinced that God’s Word is true. What He has promised in His will for our life, let us refuse to doubt. He has promised us salvation – John 8:36, “So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed.” – (NIV). He has promised us provision – Psalm 34:10, “The lions may grow weak and hungry, but those who seek the Lord lack no good thing.”

God has promised goodness, Psalms 145:9, “The Lord is good to all; He has compassion on all He has made.”. He has promised companionship, Deuteronomy 31:8, “The Lord Himself goes before you and will be with you; He will never leave you nor forsake you. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged.” And during His time on earth, Jesus also made many promises about the peace and hope He offers us, confirming He is the Light of the world – John 8:12 and that God is indeed faithful.

Brethren, we will never walk in darkness once we keep our faith in Jesus, but receive everlasting life. Walk in His light today.

Prayer

Our Father, thank You for Your faithfulness towards us. Help me never to doubt Your Word. Lord, I have seen throughout Scripture where You have always been faithful to Your children. Be faithful to me, as well, Lord. Help me overcome trials and circumstances also and never doubt You. I give You praise and thanks in Jesus’s name. Amen.
