Orpah’s life disruption changed her destiny, causing her to abort a ‘pregnancy’ filled with great potential. Instead, she is remembered as the daughter-in-law who returned to her people and gods. Forgotten and insignificant to the masses. Today, we may have Orpah sitting in the pews impersonating Ruth and appearing to be loyal, submissive, hard-working, and faithful. But when the trials of fire and storms come, it snatches that cover off and exposes Orpah, who is still attached to her gods.
They have her bound, frustrated, dejected, and on the brink of suicide because she denied herself the opportunity of connecting to the Bread of Life, where the broken pieces are made whole. Writer and poet extraordinaire Maya Angelou said, “You may not control all the events that happen to you, but you can decide not to be reduced by them.”
Arise and shine to become the woman God has created you to be. Whether as Queen Esther, who stood in the gap to save an entire nation from destructìon, Ruth, out of whose lineage Jesus Christ was birthed, or the wailing women, who will carry you in the spirit and connect you to Yeshua. This will cause you to grow in leaps and bounds, break shackles, rescue a hemorrhaging generation, and illuminate the darkness with the light of God.
My sisters, you are not alone, nor is the situation hopeless, for God is about to wash your hands and feet and shift you into your true identity to fulfil His given purpose. Therefore, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. God’s richest blessings on your life.
