God Is Not Intimidated By Our Circumstances

“And Caleb stilled the people before Moses, and said, Let us go up at once, and possess it; for we are well able to overcome it.” – Numbers 13:30 (KJV)

I’m sure most of us could refer to countless instances where God has proven His faithfulness towards us and the classical manner in which His right hand delivered our predecessors from varying troubles.

You might be able to identify with some aspects of the above piece of Scripture, but God just doesn’t want us to identify and fall away as the Israelites did due to the majority report. He is counting on us at this very moment to exercise a little faith in Him, faith like that of a mustard seed. He wants us to enter in and possess that which He has already ordained.

Friends, faith isn’t determined by your bank account or the title you have in front of your name. Having relentless faith is to trust and believe beyond a shadow of a doubt that you can achieve goals that seem unattainable and overcome the most difficult situation you find yourself saddled with. But you must rely on Jesus. God is not intimidated by our circumstances. He wants us to be witnesses for Him.

Many times even believers are deterred by what’s before them and oftentimes leave God out of the equation. However, Genesis 18:14 asks the question: “Is anything too hard for the Lord?” The very simple but truthful answer is, No!

There are instances when I am faced with situations that appear almost impossible to overcome, and I tend to feel overwhelmed. Nevertheless, my faith in God’s Word reassures me that God can do exceedingly, abundantly above all we can possibly think or imagine (Ephesians 3:20), so I continue to trust Him. I invite you to try Him as well.
