Be Convinced God Wants To Bless You

“But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and His righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.” – Matthew 6:33 (KJV)

What are the blessings of God?

When we are talking about the blessings of God, we are talking about divine gifts, that supernatural power that makes us visible, that makes a person rise above their natural limitations. Blessings also speak of our righteous destiny, spiritual favour, and physical and material benefits that come from God. In Proverbs 10:22 (ESV) we read, The blessing of the Lord, it maketh rich, and He addeth no sorrow with it.” What a powerful reminder.

God blesses us with the hope that we will begin to bear fruit for His Kingdom. He is a patient and merciful God. However, if we become disobedient and step away from our purpose, we are disconnected from the vine – John 15:2 (ESV) but if we stay connected, that’s when the blessings flow – (Verse 4).

As we go through Scripture, we realise God wants to bless us all. In Matthew 5:45 (KJV) we read that the Lord is good to all, He makes His sun rise and the rain fall on both good and evil. And in Psalms 25:14 (KJV), we read, the secret of the Lord is with them who (serve) and fear Him. Thus, once we understand this secret, we can walk right into our purpose and God’s blessing. These blessings are also to encourage others, help others, give to others, teach others, and forgive – Proverbs 22:9, Deuteronomy 15:11, Luke 6:38; Matthew 5:24.

Are you in the right position to be blessed by God?

Prayer

God in heaven we thank You for Your great love and blessings, and Your never-ending favours over our lives. Forgive us for sometimes forgetting that You know us intimately. Thank You for opening doors and enlarging our territories and that of our families. We’re the head and not the tail, above and not beneath. Thank You for supplying all our needs in the name of Jesus. Amen.
