Call Unto Me

‘Call to Me, and I will answer you, and show you great and mighty things, which you do not know.’ – Jeremiah 33:3 (NKJV)

God’s phone number is often referred to as Jeremiah 33:3. Imagine yourself without finances, overwhelmed, in need of a job, with a family to support, and have nowhere to turn. Imagine yourself meandering aimlessly along the road in despair, as you hear sirens approaching.

As you reach the corner, the cars with sirens come to a halt; and out steps the President from one of them! He quickly approached you, and handed you his business card with his personal phone number, saying, “Call me anytime when you require help and even more when you don’t.”

That is the access we have to our Father in heaven – a much greater connection. Beloved, we have God’s phone number. We only need to call His name and He responds according to our needs, as He longs for a relationship with us. He is always on the watch with open arms ready to intervene in any situation or crisis. “Call unto Me, and I will show you great and mighty things,” He said. Don’t you want to see something mighty?

God desires that we call Him! ‘He is the same yesterday, today, and forever,’ declares Hebrew 13:8. In the midst of a crisis, remember that He is Christ. 1 Corinthians 2:9 tells us, “Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, Nor have entered into the heart of man,The things which God has prepared for those who love Him.”

Do you love God today? Imagine the things you can receive. Imagine the life you can live. Imagine the access you can have. Call to Him, now is a good time; He’s available.

Prayer

Father, I come to You today to ask forgiveness for my sins where I have doubted Your Word. Thank You for Your invitation that allows me to call you at anytime.

I ask for a closer walk with You.

Help me to have a relationship with You, for I have recognised that you are Christ in any crisis! In Jesus’ name, Amen.
