“For I am persuaded that neither death nor life…nor things present nor things to come…shall be able to separate us from the love of God…” – Romans 8:38-39 (NKJV)
In a world where people are continually looking for something valuable to invest in, whether it is status, a relationship, or wealth, God asks us to cash in on something that has never lost value: His Love. Going into financial institutions to withdraw funds that are already ours is like cashing out on our Father’s affection for us.
We are constantly encouraged to access, trust, and live out the riches of God’s love because they are secure, unchanging, and rewarding. Cash in is to redeem, rely on, or withdraw from something that is already available. The love of God redeems us from sin, shame, and hopelessness in exchange for peace, purpose, and everlasting life.
As stated in Romans 5:5, God’s love is already invested in our hearts via Christ and is not something we must earn – ‘God’s love has been poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit…’. Accept it; our Father’s love is a free gift. Even if you fail, realise that His love is eternal. Allow that reality to calm your concerns and questions while solidifying your faith.
Finally, allow the love you have cashed to reflect on others; share it, show it, and say it. God loved me not only to bless me, but also to be a blessing to you, so be motivated to spread the love and Good News in your sphere of influence today.
Remember that man’s or the world’s promises will fade, but God’s love will endure. The time for seeking empty rewards is over, and the moment to cash in on what is everlasting is now.
Prayer
Thank You, Lord, for loving me even when I did not deserve it. Help me accept it with faith and relax in confidence and delight. Today, I’ve decided to cash in on the richest gift ever given: Your unconditional love. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
