Christ is the Answer – Part 2

“Let your roots grow down into Him and draw nourishment from Him. See that you go on growing in the Lord, and become strong and vigorous in the truth you were taught. Let your lives overflow with joy and thanksgiving for all He has done”

Colossians 2:7 (TLB)

In retrospect, our God has brought us a mighty long way. At this juncture of our lives many of us who are at present navigating new beginnings can testify that the breakthrough to this point came after many failures, testing and trials, wailing and breaking of various generational curses, and like a woman in labour, we painfully pushed through screaming the name of Jesus. Brethren, we were successful because our spiritual roots and faith in God were embedded in Christ where we received the nourishment necessary for us to become overcomers. Yes, beloved, Romans 8:37 declares that “we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us” (NKJV).

As we navigate this journey, let us beware of the fear factor that results in procrastination which causes us not to honour the gift of time that God has given to us. It is important to note that when we procrastinate we are setting off a chain reaction of events that can negatively affect not only ourselves but others. Low expectations will trap us into mediocrity. We must think positive thoughts of victory, thoughts of hope; good, pure, excellent thoughts; for God is looking for people who won’t limit Him with their small-minded thinking. Note Saints, the Bible is replete with examples of God taking ordinary persons to do extraordinary things. If God can take a donkey chaser like Saul and make him the King of Israel and take Joseph, who was sold into slavery by his siblings, to become the Prince of Egypt, God can and will make a way through adversity so that we may receive the next-level blessing.

When we navigate new beginnings we do so with faith; Faith talks. When faith talks, there’s no fear and unbelief. Whatever we confess, we will possess.

Pray

Father by faith we confess victory in the face of apparent defeat, and we confess abundance in the face of apparent lack, on the basis of the biblical injunction found in Philippians 4:19 which states “But my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus”. In the name of Jesus, we pray that the consuming fire of the Holy Ghost roasts every devouring demonic spirit and their principalities who are intent on using any or every diabolical device to destroy our God-ordained destiny, Amen!
