Biography

Rev. Arik Nabie joined American Transit Insurance Company (ATIC) in May 2019 as their first Chief Information Officer and is responsible for developing and executing a long-term systems transformation and paradigm shift to data science and analytics. Over the past years, facing many challenges from antiquated legacy systems, COVID-19’s transformation of the traditional workplace, and creating a data science program to enable future offerings on the commercial insurance landscape, Arik has been able to lead an ongoing digital transformation for ATIC. Before joining ATIC, Arik worked at National Medtrans Network, a non-emergency medical transportation service, where he ran the development of internal and external facing systems that included dispatching, EDI billing, mobile apps, and customer service. Prior to this, Arik worked as a technology consultant in the medical transportation industry. A native New Yorker, Arik obtained his Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and a Master’s in Business Administration from St. John’s University in Queens, NY, and has recently started pursuing a lifelong goal of obtaining a pilot’s license.

Fellowship

Arik was brought into Faith Assembly in Queens, NY, at six months old by his parents. He is the eldest son of Rev. Ejaz & Sandra Nabie, who serve as Senior Pastors of Faith Assembly. Growing up in the church, Arik was involved in ministry from a young age as a musician, worship leader, youth leader, and most recently, Ordained Minister with the Assemblies of God. He currently serves as youth pastor of Faith Assembly. Arik is married to Samantha and has two daughters, Mia and Lana.
