“By faith Noah, being warned by God concerning events as yet unseen, in reverent fear constructed an ark for the saving of his household…” – Hebrews 11:7 (ESV)
Project management often demands clarity, structure, and control. Yet, as believers, we are called to lead with faith, especially when the path ahead is uncertain. Noah’s project – the ark – was not born from a Gantt chart or stakeholder analysis, but from divine instruction. He trusted God’s vision, followed His specifications, and built in faith, even when the skies were clear.
“Commit your work to the Lord, and your plans will be established,” says Proverbs 16:3 (ESV).
Faith doesn’t negate planning – it empowers it. Like Noah, we are invited to trust God with the blueprint, even when the outcome is unseen. Faith is the foundation that steadies us when projections shift and timelines stretch.
“For we walk by faith, not by sight.” – 2 Corinthians 5:7 (KJV) says.
Consider the testimony of a professional tasked with outsourcing transactions from one continent to another. It was unfamiliar terrain. She questioned her team’s readiness, the maturity of processes, and the cultural shift ahead. But with faith, she scoped the vision, identified standardized processes, assessed IT and automation needs, and planned for change management. She trusted God through the hypercare period despite unknowns in training, culture, and quality.
The project launched successfully. And like the olive branch in the dove’s beak, God gave a sign of peace and progress.
Let this be your encouragement: You may not see the full journey, but when you walk in faith, God will guide your steps and crown your efforts with success. Sing His glory – He is faithful in every project we lead.
