“I will praise Thee, O Lord my God, with all my heart: and I will glorify Thy name forevermore.” – Psalm 86:12 (KJV)
Records show that Easter is the most important and oldest festival of the modern Christian Church. It celebrates the resurrection of Christ. For approximately one week, the Christian community all over the world reveres ‘the risen King,’ our Saviour.
There’s a noticeable change in the atmosphere worldwide. For me, the sky seems lit in celebration of our risen Saviour. It seems there is a call by God to renew our minds (Romans 12:2) through the environment and His Word. He wants to save us all. So, I will let the mind of Christ be in me so that I can be crucified with Him. I want to be resurrected with Him and enjoy eternal life. I want to say it is Christ Who lives in me, and the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, Who loves me and gave Himself for me (Galatians 2:20).
Brethren, we should glorify God because of His lovingkindness. We should forever praise Him since His death and resurrection give us a better life. Today, I encourage you to lift up your hands in praise and acknowledgment of the risen Saviour.
Prayer
Heavenly Father, I thank You. I am so honoured to be Your child. I appreciate the presence of Your Holy Spirit during this holy season. You are Holy and Almighty. You are worthy, O Lord. All praise be to your name. This I pray in Jesus’ mighty name. Amen.
