“Go Make Disciples”

“Go Make Disciples”

Matthew 28:19a (KJV)

Go ye therefore, and teach all nations…

Matthew 28:19a (KJV)

Then the eleven disciples went to Galilee, to the mountain where Jesus had told them to go. When they saw Him, they worshiped Him; but some doubted. Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptising them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit” – Matthew 28:16-19 (NIV).

The Good News of Jesus Christ is the only message in the world that has the power to set men and women free from the bondage of sin. It is the only message that is able to give hope to the hopeless. The call to make disciples is given to all Christians, not just pastors or church leaders. Each of us is challenged not only to be a disciple of Jesus Christ but also to make disciples.

God has made the method of salvation so simple that everyone can obtain it. If you choose to believe in Jesus, God will be your Father and you will become His beloved child and be part of His heavenly and everlasting kingdom. The sacrifice of Jesus was the only way for God to bring us back to Him because our sins separated us. Jesus was willing to take our sin, serve our sentence and die for our redemption on the cross. Everyone who chooses to believe in Him is thereby justified, saved, and becomes true Christians and disciples. God then sees you through Jesus and you are without any sin or guilt. It is a free gift from God to each of us. This is the Amazing Grace; the innocent One was sacrificed to justify the guilty ones.

Therefore, God has not condemned us and so we must not condemn ourselves. He is calling on us today to go share the Good News and win the lost today. Go make disciples for God.
