God Can Use You To Share Your Faith Anywhere

God Can Use You To Share Your Faith Anywhere

2 Kings 5:4 (NKJV)

“And Naaman went in and told his master, saying, “Thus and thus said the girl who is from the land of Israel.” – 2 Kings 5:4 (NKJV)

Our faith is an expression of our trust and hope in God. Our confidence is that He is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all we can ask or think according to the power that works in us (Ephesians 3:20). It is this confidence that leads us to share our faith with boldness, regardless of where we are or in what situation we’ve been placed.

I reflect on the servant girl who was taken captive by the Syrians during a raid on Israel and became Naaman’s servant. This servant girl, though in captivity, observed her master’s condition and shared her faith in God by stating that he should visit Elisha, the prophet of the Living God in Samaria, and he would be healed.

A brief word of belief from this servant girl brought faith in God and healing to the powerful Syrian commander. God had placed her there for a purpose, and she was faithful. It may have seemed difficult, but she fulfilled her purpose. Where has God placed you? Are you being faithful? Are you fulfilling your purpose?

It does not matter how humble or small your position is, God can use you to spread His Word. As believers, we need to look for opportunities to share His Word with others. There’s no telling how their lives will be impacted.

Because the servant girl was faithful, Naaman’s life was transformed. Though full of pride and power, he quickly learnt to walk in humility by being obedient to the man of God. His faith in God grew when he received his healing. Naaman understood because of his experience and acknowledged that the God of Israel is the One True God (2 Kings 5:15).

Is there a co-worker or someone in your school or neighbourhood who needs to know the One True God today? Let your faith lead you with boldness to share Jesus so that lives will be transformed in Jesus’ name.
