God’s Goodness is About to Overtake You

God’s Goodness is About to Overtake You

Deuteronomy 28:2 (AMP)

All these blessings will come upon you and overtake you if you pay attention to the voice of the Lord your God.” – Deuteronomy 28:2 (AMP)

This month, we are celebrating the family at our local church, and we’re all aware that there are various issues, needs, and desires in varying families, not only in our home country but around the world. But beloved, I leave this piece of Scripture as your encouragement:

“Simon, Simon, look out! Satan has asked to sift you like wheat. But I have prayed for you, that your faith may not fail. And you, when you have turned back, strengthen your brothers” – Luke 22:31-32 (HCSB).

In this family month, remember that Jesus has already prayed for us and left us a Helper (John 14:16-18) to navigate this life. The opposition that has come against you is due to the glory that the Father is about to reveal to you and through you. The enemy wants to distract you and make you believe that He will not fulfil His promises, but stand your ground and rebuke the weariness that is knocking on your door. Don’t give up! The enemy is attempting to shift your faith and steal from you; remain strong in the Lord.

We are called to walk with active faith, to roar God’s promises with passion and power, and to remind ourselves that we serve a righteous King who never forgets or turns away from those whom He loves. God is calling us to resist the temptation to despair and to look with faith-filled expectation instead of doubt-infused predictions. This is not the time to yield to the temptation and break down and give up. It is time to take up our shield of faith and slice through the darkness with the sword of His Word. God is going to overturn the plans of the enemy that have been put into motion against you. You will see His goodness this month and beyond. Believe and be encouraged today.
