God’s Master Plan For All Mankind – Part 1

Romans 6:23 (KJV)

“…but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.” – Romans 6:23 (KJV)

The light of the world has come. Jesus was born as a part of God’s master plan of redemption for all mankind through the gift of eternal life (Romans 6:23).

The mystery behind Jesus’ birth was prophesied in the  Old Testament by Isaiah’s prophecy (Isaiah 7:14; 9:6). It was prophesied that Christ would come as a baby. His name, Emmanuel, means ‘God is with us’. And in Micah 5:2, it was revealed that He would be born in Bethlehem. All was fulfilled.

God chose a pure young virgin who loved Him to conceive His Son. It was not an ordinary birth or He an ordinary man. This birth took place once, and it will not happen again. It was the birth of the most unique person in history. Her fiancee, Joseph, was even engaged in a dream about the importance of the pregnancy.

To strengthen our appreciation for our dear Saviour, Jesus had to be born for many reasons, but only through the Holy Spirit. He had to be born because God wanted to reveal His own character and righteousness to humanity. He wants us to be like Him in mind and in spirit since because of the disobedience of one man, sin entered the world. Therefore, for man to be remitted from sin, the Saviour had to be born (Matthew 1:21-23).

The eternal God Himself became flesh, meaning that God stepped out of eternity into time to become man, by birth and of flesh and blood, fully God and fully man. He dwelt among men to establish His kingdom or reign that reaches to the end of the earth.

The value of one’s life, worth, feelings that matter, love, forgiveness, kindness, appreciation, and gratitude reveal God’s intention, and from the beginning of creation, it was always to have a relationship with us. His prime creations are us (His children).
