God’s Master Plan For All Mankind – Part 2

God’s Master Plan For All Mankind – Part 2

Jeremiah 29:11 (NIV)

“For I know the plans I have for you’, declares the Lord…” – Jeremiah 29:11 (NIV)

But God, in His goodness and merciful love for us, had this plan, which was prophesied in Genesis 3:15 because He knew the devil and his cunning ways. This piece of Scripture predicted the ultimate victory for humankind and God over satan’s evil by prophesying a spiritual conflict between the offspring of a woman, while Isaiah 7:14 also confirmed God’s promise that Christ would be born of a pure virgin woman.

Jesus was “struck” (through His crucifixion), yet He rose from the dead and completely destroyed (crushed) satan, sin, and death for the sake of the salvation of the human race. He came to mend what was broken from that dreadful day (Genesis 3), to reconcile us to a right relationship with the Father, just as He always desired it to be. Through love, God demonstrates His compassion for man by giving His only begotten son – His best (John 3:16).

Jesus’ birth proves that God is real and He really loves us. It signifies:

  1. The removal of human sins through a perfect sacrifice. (We now have to repent and accept Him in our hearts). He is the King of kings  (Revelation 19:16).
  2. The need for  mankind to have a Mediator (Hebrews 8:6-10)
  3. The reconfirmation of God’s promise to Abraham (Genesis 17:5, Hebrews 8:10)
  4. The redemption of mankind (1 Peter 1:20, Romans 3:23, Romans 5:6-10).

Therefore, God’s master plan for us includes Jesus Christ and has a significant and wide-ranging effect for all humanity.
