God’s Promises Are True – Part 2

Fear not, for I am with you; Be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, Yes, I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.” – Isaiah 41:10 (NKJV)

Many years ago, after I accepted Jesus as my Lord and Saviour, I began experiencing a difficult situation in my family – particularly with my mom. One day I told the Lord it’s becoming overwhelming, please do something. He led me to the portion of Scripture mentioned above Isaiah 41:10

Over the ensuing years, I have held on to that Scripture each time I felt overwhelmed by life and circumstances. I remind Abba Father of His promise and His faithfulness, and He has always given me the strength to persevere and be successful. This has been God’s promise to me, and He’s still keeping it all these years. He’s able to do much more than I can even ask or think – Ephesians 3:20 (NKJV).

For the remainder of that particular year with my mom,  I saw a change in behaviour towards me, a display of love and affection that I wasn’t privy to prior. Is God able? Yes, He is! God changed my circumstances then, and He is able to do the same for you. Call upon His name and remind Him of His Word. He’s the same yesterday, today, and forever – Hebrews 13:8 (NKJV)

In Jeremiah 32:27 (NKJV) God says, “Behold, I am the Lord, the God of all flesh. Is there anything too hard for Me?”. I can boldly state that there is nothing too hard for God. I don’t know what circumstance you’re struggling with or what form of captivity you’re experiencing, but I know that God’s promise is available to you today. He wants to bring you out of that place, situation or circumstance. He wants to save you – Romans 10:13 (NKJV).

Prayer

Oh Lord, I’m grateful for each promise You’ve made to me. Your promises have strengthened me. I pray that others would learn to trust You and stand upon Your promises, in Jesus’ name. Amen.
