Grow Your Faith

“…my unfailing love for you will not be shaken nor my covenant of peace be removed,” says the Lord, who has compassion on you.’ – Isaiah 54:10 (NIV)

We need to plant the above Word of God, like a seed, in our hearts and hold onto this one truth – as children of God, no matter what happens in our lives, our heavenly Father loves us dearly, and nothing we do can ever change that love.

Irrespective of the season we are in, whether we are experiencing good times, adverse or challenging times, or a time when our heart is heavy with grief, we have this one truth to hold onto – God loves us with an everlasting love – a love that is the same yesterday, today, and forever.

As we are assured in Jeremiah 31:3 (KJV), “The Lord hath appeared of old unto me,  saying, Yea, I have loved thee with an everlasting love: therefore, with  lovingkindness have I drawn thee.” So, let us buckle down, be resolute, and grow in our faith, knowing that nothing can separate us from the love of God (Romans 8:35-39). Let’s feel our heavenly Father enfolding us in His embrace; we are safe, utterly loved, and completely accepted.

Let our lives be so established and grounded in His love, so perfect, that no challenge or adversity will cause our faith to waver. There is nothing we can ever do to make our heavenly Father love us more, and nothing that we can ever do to make Him love us less.

God loved us before we ever knew Him. His love for us has nothing to do with anything that we have done for Him. Nothing we do will ever affect His unwavering, unconditional love for us. So let our faith grow in this understanding and truth.

Prayer

Father God, help us be committed to meeting with You daily as we read Your Word, for it is Your Word that will reveal Your unfailing love for us and cause our faith in You to grow. This I pray, in Jesus’ name. Amen.
