Heed the Clarion Call for Salvation

Heed the Clarion Call for Salvation

John 3:16 – KJV

For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life. (John 3:16 – KJV)

If you have not given your heart to the Lord Jesus Christ, you are destined for hell. Please heed the clarion call for salvation, for it is He (Jesus) who shed His blood and died on Calvary cross for your sins and mine.

In the book of Genesis, the devil successfully executed a diabolical plan to put sin, (that which God hates) into man, whom He loves. In so doing, the deceiver thought that should God destroy sin, what he hates, he will destroy man, whom He loves.

Adam’s disobedience released an exponential crisis on all mankind of colossal proportions that caused us all to be born in sin and shaped in iniquity. We were bound for eternal damnation, but Jehovah God had a rescue plan, for without the shedding of blood there is no forgiveness of sins (Hebrews 9:22 – NIV).

Myer Pearlman, author of the book, ‘Knowing the Doctrines of the Bible’, puts it this way, “As a result of the finished work of Christ the penitent is changed from a defiled sinner into a holy worshipper. Sanctification is a result of that wondrous work accomplished by the Son of God when He offered Himself to put away sin by His sacrifice on Calvary”.

An examination of John 3:16 reveals that God sent His Son Jesus Christ to die as a blood sacrifice for the sins of mankind. It is noted that God’s clarion call for sinners to be saved is not discriminatory on the basis of racial origin, gender, class, social status, caste, criminal background, religion, or witchcraft worker; “for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,” (Romans 3:23 – NIV). Most important, is the fact that He (God) gave mankind a choice to believe in the Lord Jesus Christ and receive eternal life rather than eternal damnation. If you do not know Jesus Christ and have chosen to accept Him as your Lord and Saviour please repeat this prayer of confession as you seek to escape the colossal crisis of not being redeemed.

Prayer

Lord Jesus, I believe You are the Son of God who died on the Cross of Calvary for my sins and rose from the dead on the third day. Thank You for bearing my sins and giving me the gift of eternal life. I believe Your words are true. Come into my heart Lord Jesus, and be my Saviour, in Jesus’s name, Amen!
