Nyvin John is one of the youngest Assistant Pastors within the First Assembly of God Wortmanville Church. He was appointed in February 2021, and is assigned as support to Pastor Claudette Barrow in ministry at the First Assembly of God – Hopetown, West Coast Berbice outstation. Assistant Pastor John also serves in the Deliverance, Intercessory, Evangelism, Missionary, Youth and the Drama ministries.
He became a member of the First Assembly of God Wortmanville Church in 2012 and has been actively involved in ministry since 2015.
Assistant Pastor John holds an Associate’s Degree in Communication Studies from the University of Guyana and an Associate’s Degree in Theology from the Life Christian University. He has also earned several certificates From the Caribbean School of Theology, AOG and the Ernest Angley Ministries.
Assistant Pastor John and his wife, Sister Naudia Baptiste-John, were married in August 2020 and are the happy parents of a son, Nathan.
2 Corinthians 12:9, “My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness,” resonates deeply with Assistant Pastor John as it speaks to God’s providence towards us even in our weakest moments.
