“Let’s Give Thanks for Life”

“….I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; thou shalt be a blessing.” Genesis 12:2 (KJV)

We should always be grateful for God’s mercy and goodness since God reached out to us before we reached out to Him. We should continually praise Him for saving us by His sovereign grace and because He is the source of our existence, movement, and being.

In Psalm 92:1-4 (KJV) we read:

  1. It is a good thing to give thanks unto the Lord and sing praises unto thy name, O most High.
  2. To shew forth thy loving kindness in the morning, and thy faithfulness every night.
  3. Upon an instrument of ten strings, and upon the psaltery: upon the harp with a solemn sound.
  4. For thou, Lord, hast made me glad through thy work: I will triumph in the work of thy hands.

Yes, we should always honour the Lord, our God.

Moreover, Deuteronomy 6 teaches us to speak God’s word day and night, meditating on His covenant of love, kindness, and faithfulness in the midst of family and community so that we may share the same with others.

The Lord is great and greatly to be praised! Give thanks unto His name!

Testimony

I just want to say “Thank You” to God. It is gratifying to know that God has been and continues to be with me throughout my life. Looking back on this journey of life, with so many challenges to overcome, it is absolutely incredible to be in the land of the living. I recall being involved in an accident when I was around ten years old. One of my younger siblings and I emerged unscathed, but I shared the blunt. It was meant to take me out, but God never fails; He kept me. Let us worship Him from the mountaintop so the world will know that our God cannot fail. Amen!
