“Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called sons of God…” – 1 John 3:1 (KJV)
God’s promises or plans are life, and they are victory. They are spiritual stepping stones to abundant living in the here and now. To pray according to God’s will is to pray according to His Word. Therefore, we cannot go wrong when we pray. His plans are His revealed will for us. Each promise directly meets a human need (2 Corinthians 1:20-22).
God, our loving Heavenly Father, wants us to find happiness and joy. He created a plan for us to grow, live by faith, and return to live with Him someday.
The truth is, as our Holy Bible reveals, God has already met all our needs in Christ Jesus. His plan for all of us is that He will never leave us or forsake us, but He will be with us even to the end (Deuteronomy 31:8). And in Jeremiah 29:11, He also declares He has thoughts of peace and not of evil for us. We have a future and a hope.
God has this all planned out. He knows everything about us, even before we pray or ask. He gives His ministry of angels charge over our protection. Thus, our well-being is so intimate for Him. Psalm 91:11-12 (KJV) says: “For He shall give His angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways. They shall bear thee up in their hands, lest thou dash thy foot against a stone.”
Friends, God wants us to be filled with the knowledge of His will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding (Colossians 1:9). Glory to God. He loves us!
Prayer
Our most Mighty and Heavenly Father, thank You for the ministering angels in our lives. It gives us great comfort and hope to realise that You have given them charge over us to keep us safe at all times and in every situation. Thank You for the presence of Your Holy Spirit so that You can increase in our lives as we fulfil our purpose. Let Your will be done in Jesus’s name, Amen.
