The COVID-19 pandemic has resulted in many sicknesses, variances of diseases and many deaths among nations. Some churches have closed their doors and some of God’s sheep, without pastoral shepherds, have gone astray.
Now fear is the absence of faith in God, that He is the Christ of any crisis. Fear produces procrastination, stagnation, diseases in the body, and ultimately death.
The spirit of fear is not of God, but of the devil whose mission is to steal, kill and destroy God’s creation (John 10:10). Thus, the rapid falling away of many during this pandemic. But let us not forget the gathering together (Hebrews 10:25). Let us return to our community and be light again.
Prayer
Heavenly Father we approach Your throne room in the name of Jesus Christ our Deliverer, and we ask You to destroy the spirit of fear among Your peoples. We release the fire of the Holy Ghost and the Blood of Jesus to destroy the demonic altars of the satanic emissaries who are committed to scattering Your sheep, divide Your church and render the work of Your servants of no effect. We pull down territorial spirits that dominate the atmosphere, the hemisphere, the stratosphere, the realms and regions, in the name Jesus Christ of Nazareth.
Father God, help us to draw faith from Your Word in Psalms 91:5,6 which states “ You will not fear the terror of night, nor the arrow that flies by day, nor the pestilence that stalks in the darkness, nor the plague that destroys at midday (NIV). AMEN.
He is Christ our Deliverer!
