Our Blueprint For Life – Part 2

“Your Word is a lamp for my feet, a light on my path.” – Psalm 119:105 (NIV)

Studying the Bible is of the utmost importance if we are to fulfil our destiny. When we spend time in Scripture, we get to know and learn about our Maker and Creator.

Some of the benefits of God’s Word:

  1. It points us to Him
  2. It is the foundation of our faith
  3. It protects us from wrong teaching
  4. The Bible is God’s written Word to us, complementing God’s spoken Word through the Holy Spirit
  5. The Bible keeps us from trying to create God in our own image
  6. Reading and studying the Bible is an act of worship

As we study and meditate on the Word of God, we come to know Him as the Most High God, the King of kings and the Lord of lords, and our our desperate need for Jesus.

Spending time in God’s Word teaches us about His perfect nature and the greatness of His splendour, Majesty, and great power, as well as His patience, mercy, and grace.

The God of creation and all living things (including nature) invites us to know Him better through His written Word. He has given us His Word and His Spirit to know His thoughts and understand His ways.

How do we live a victorious Christian life? It is by allowing the Lord to teach us His statutes and adhering to them.

As you walk and live closely with the Lord Jesus Christ, you’ll understand that you carry an extraordinary power within you – the power to manifest His glory in every situation. This divine knowledge transforms you and causes you to live victoriously, displaying His glory to the world.

Beloved, let us, with thanksgiving, show appreciation to our Redeemer.
