Tell Your Story

“Let the redeemed of the Lord say so, whom He hath redeemed from the hand of the enemy” – Psalm 107:2 (KJV)

When you know you are redeemed, your walk with God will change. You’ll see yourself in a brand-new light. You will know God has placed such value on you because He purchased you through the precious blood of His dear Son. That blood was shed for all mankind – for every man, woman, boy, and girl. All it takes is a ‘yes’ to have that experience of redemption.

God has rescued us from sin and death. And it is through Him that we will be ultimately gathered together as one. Then we will have to tell of His goodness and mercy to us. In essence, we are to tell our story as a means of encouragement to others. Sharing our story is just one more piece of evidence that God is good and faithful. Therefore, we are not to be shy about the Lord’s work in our life.

Have you been rescued by Jesus? You may have been rescued or delivered from some form of bondage, confinement, disease, or from wicked and unreasonable men. As such, thanks should be given to Him (Jesus). It would be ungrateful and wrong to remain silent about so great a work.

In time passed, we walked according to the course of this world, but the Lord has redeemed us from that disastrous state. God has saved us from our enemies and has not suffered us to be destroyed by them. It is for this reason that we, the redeemed of the Lord, shall declare God’s goodness and faithfulness to all.

Prayer

Father, I am grateful to be redeemed from the world, the flesh, the devil, and many other snares. Thank You for loving me so much that You sent Your only begotten Son to redeem me back to Yourself. For this, I say thanks, in Jesus’ name, Amen.
