“All that belongs to the Father is mine. That is why I said the Spirit will receive from Me what He will make known to you.” – John 16:15 (NIV)
Let us acknowledge God as: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Spirit. This is the eternal truth and cannot be changed. The Holy Spirit is God; the Holy Spirit is the voice of God; the Holy Spirit is the extension of God. Sometimes when the Holy Spirit ministers to us, we do not realise it since we’re not in sync with Him. We need to repent and say, ‘Thank You, blessed Holy Spirit, for Your faithfulness.’ He is always with us.
As we proclaim this Gospel of our Lord Jesus to those who are in need of hearing it, we need the Holy Spirit to go before and accompany us. We must intercede for the ministry of the Holy Spirit in order for others to accept the message of salvation and live in eternity.
Psalm 127:1 says, “Unless the Lord builds the house, the builders labour in vain…”. As soul winners, we must become conscious of this. Trying to build the Church of God without the Holy Spirit will not work – the Holy Spirit does the work; He guides us. He is the Lord of the harvest. He convicts and convinces the world of sin, righteousness, and judgement.
Let us be willing to do the Father’s bidding. Let us be sensitive to His leadership and guidance.
