“But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be My witnesses…to the ends of the earth.” – Acts 1:8 (NIV)
You don’t lack the ability to do anything. Blessed be the Lord our God! 2 Corinthians 3:5 (NIV) says, “Not that we are competent in ourselves to claim anything for ourselves, but our competence comes from God.”
This brings to mind what the Scripture says in Philippians 2:13, “…for it is God Who works in you to will and to act in order to fulfill His good purpose.” It is the Holy Spirit Who makes you willing and able to perform, to deliver at the highest level of excellence all the time. Never forget that!
We must become aware that it is not our power but His divine ability that is at work in us. Therefore, we need to look beyond ourselves. We need to acknowledge the Person, power, grace, and ministry of the Holy Spirit in our lives! The Holy Spirit is our advantage in our ministry, career, business, job, or academics. Be conscious of His grace and power at work in us and watch Him do even more marvellous things in our lives.
We must acknowledge that we do all things by His mighty power. Be reminded to follow His wisdom and guidance and know for sure that you’re up to any task because He lives in you – walking and working in and through you. Zechariah 4:6 says, “So he said to me, ‘This is the word of the Lord to Zerubbabel: ‘Not by might nor by power, but by My Spirit’ says the Lord Almighty.”
He has filled you with a supernatural ability to do things that are beyond human ability and comprehension. Hallelujah!
