Trusting In His Love

Trusting in His Love
Romans 8:38-‬39 (MSG)

I’m absolutely convinced that nothing—nothing living or dead, angelic or demonic, today or tomorrow, high or low, thinkable or unthinkable—absolutely nothing can get between us and God’s love because of the way that Jesus our Master has embraced us.

Romans 8:38-‬39 (MSG)

What is crisis? According to the Oxford Dictionary, a crisis is a time of intense difficulty or danger.

We all face crises at some point of our lives. It is simply a part of life. But can any crisis contend with Jesus’ love for us? Certainly not! Even in a crisis, there is hope, hope in Jesus.

We can hope in His love, knowing that He will never leave us or forsake us. We can find comfort in Him, being assured that even as we walk through the valley of the shadow of death, He is with us. We can draw strength from Him, being confident that even though we are pressed by hardships, we are not crushed. Even though we are struck down, we are not destroyed! (2 Corinthians 4:8-9). Hallelujah!

My dear brothers and sisters, what do we do when a crisis comes? An old song comes to mind:

“…Put your hand in the hand of the Man who stilled the water

Put your hand in the hand of the Man who calmed the sea…”

Dear brothers and sisters, rest assured that regardless of our intense difficulties, the Master loves us and will see us through. We can trust Him, we can trust His love. There is no crisis greater than the love of our Lord Jesus Christ. Hallelujah! Why not trust in His love today!

Prayer:

Dear God, Thank you for Your love. Help me to trust You as I go through difficulties. Help me to be confident in Your love and find comfort in You knowing that You will see me through. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
