“…pray for each other…The earnest prayer of a righteous person has great power and produces wonderful results.” – James 5:16 (NLT )
The prayer that prevails must be fervent, earnest, and passionate.
The prayer that prevails is the prayer that is given to us by the Holy Spirit. The power of a believer to succeed lies in the anointing of the Holy Spirit, which is secured by diligence and prevailing prayers. In this, the believer simply obtains the services of ministering spirits of God, Who would supernaturally empower him to succeed (Deuteronomy 8:18).
Whether in ministry, in the family, or in business, one of the most outstanding secrets of successful people is a life dedicated to fervent prayers. In prayer, God and God alone minister to you directly by passing to you secrets for your personal success and progress.
Why Pray?
1. You pray because you need the Lord to show you the things you do not know. (Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and shew thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not. – Jeremiah 33:3 – KJV).
2. You pray because you need a revelation of certain secrets of life. (Whether in ministry, marriage, business, or career, the moment you know the divine secrets and apply them, you will simply begin to swim in abundance, peace, and progress. You gain access to God’s secrets through purposeful, prevailing prayers and diligent search of the Word of God).
3. Through prayer, God’s servants experience His miracle-working power (1 Kings 17:17-24). (Through prevailing prayer, the dead can be raised, the sick can be healed, and the lost can be saved. Indeed, there is no limit to the miracles God can perform when His people pray).
Jesus, though He is the greatest, was prayerful and, thus, impactful. Luke 6:12 says, “And it came to pass in those days, that He went out into a mountain to pray, and continued all night in prayer to God.”
We are contending with the enemy. He is out to frustrate our lives and careers. Let us learn to prevail in prayer by the Holy Spirit. Learn to spend some nights with God in prayer. The results will never be the same. Stop complaining and begin praying. Sharpen your prayer life, rejoicing in hope, patient in tribulation, and continuing in prevailing prayers.
Prayer
Heavenly Father, I appreciate You being our Father that when we prevail in prayer, hopeless situations are turned around, and we receive peace of mind and tranquillity in our souls. Thank You, Jesus, Amen.
